Landscope (Mauritius) Ltd, à travers le Port Louis Waterfront, est honoré de participer à cette initiative très louable de la Rogers Foundation pour marquer la Journée Internationale des Océans. Nous tenons aussi à remercier la Fondation pour le choix du Port Louis Waterfront dans le contexte cette activité visant à sensibiliser la population sur les méfaits de la pollution de l’océan.
Très souvent, quand nous évoquons la pollution, nous avons tendance à nous concentrer sur la pollution des espaces publiques et des forêts, entre autres, et nous oublions la mer et l’océan. Or, la pollution est une menace grandissante pour la beauté et le cachet naturel des océans mais aussi pour la faune marine.
C’est avec peine que nous constatons les dégâts causés par la pollution de nos océans. Des organisations internationales ont déjà tiré la sonnette d’alarme concernant les conséquences néfastes de la pollution sur la biodiversité. Il est chagrinant et surtout inquiétant de noter qu’à ce jour des centaines d’espèces ont été victimes d’enchevêtrement et que plus de 240 ont ingéré du plastique. Une prise de conscience urgente est plus que nécessaire si nous voulons éviter une catastrophe écologique

Landscope Mauritius shares its know-how and expertise across the African borders.
During a two-days working session (20 & 21 Feb 2019), including site visits, Landscope Mauritius Ltd shared its transformation journey with a delegation of the Lesotho National Development Corporation’s team.
Landscope Mauritius has been chosen as benchmark after the LNDC’s engagement with EDB Mauritius in October 2018.
Headed by Mr. Lebohang Mohau, General Manager of Property Development and Management, the LNDC team had intensive working sessions with Landscope (Mauritius) to gather insight on how best to position themselves in their local market. Discussions were centred around the ideal structure(s) and matrix to put in place to meet the strategy of a ‘Property Development’ organization. The sharing of insights included exchanges on operational policies and business processes, and Landscope’s linkage into the country’s economic and social over-arching vision.
In October 2016, the LNDC initiated a refocusing and realignment exercise to address their economic, social and environmental issues faced by Lesotho. Founded in 1967, the LNDC is going through a transition and the 2-days fruitful exchange of information have led into a bi-lateral knowledge sharing that shall be translated into a Memorandum of Understanding which shall promote peer learning.
