Wazaa FM:-Stationnement : l’Ebène Car Park prêt à accueillir 900 voitures
Le bâtiment conçu au coût de Rs 400 millions, uniquement pour le stationnement des véhicules à Ebène entre en service dans une semaine. A partir du lundi 3 août, l’Ebène Car Park accueillera ses premiers clients et devrait grandement mettre un terme au stationnement sauvage dans la Cybercité.
L’Ebène Car Park, situé à l’entrée sud comprend huit niveaux. Il sera doté d’une conciergerie, d’une cafeteria, d’un Car Wash et des espaces à louer. Il peut contenir 861 voitures à l’intérieur et 73 à l’extérieur, contre un paiement à l’heure ou mensuel.

Ce bâtiment de plus de 6 000m2, avec huit niveaux, se veut sécurisé avec un système d’identification à distance par le biais d’une carte électronique et des caméras de surveillance (CCTV). Construit par Laxmanbhai & Co. (Mauritius) Ltd, le parking comprend 861 places à l’intérieur et 73 à l’extérieur, dont 737 couvertes, en sus de deux espaces réservés aux personnes à mobilité réduite au rez-de-chaussée.

Suite à l’annonce faite dans le Budget 2020/ 2021 concernant la création d’un Data Technology Park à Côte d’Or, Landscope Mauritius travaille déjà sur la mise en place d’un Master Plan ainsi qu’une demande de propositions (Request for Proposals) à l’intention d’investisseurs et de promoteurs à Maurice et sur le plan international. La demande de propositions sera lancée dans les semaines à venir.

MBCRADIO:Côte d’Or Data Technology Park: a master plan in preparation, a request for proposals soon to be launched
The Côte d’Or Data Technology Park, announced in the 2020/21 Budget, will be created on a plot of 150 arpents. A “Master Plan” is currently being prepared at Landscope Mauritius, which plans to launch the call for proposals within two months. According to the Economic Development Board, this project aims to allow the country to reach a technological level and to attract foreign companies specializing in the field.

This is in line with Government’s vision to give a new impetus to the local economy as announced in the Budget 2020/2021 by the Minister of Finance, Dr Padayachy. Both local and international investors as well as promoters will be targeted for this project.

Following the announcement made in the 2020/2021 Budget concerning the creation of a Data Technology Park in Côte d’Or, Landscope Mauritius is already working on the implementation of a Master Plan as well as a request for proposals (Request for Proposals) for investors and promoters in Mauritius and internationally. The request for proposals will be launched in the coming weeks.

A call for proposal in regards the setting up of a Data Technology Park at Côte d’Or will shortly be launched by Landscope Mauritius. The Data Technology Park will comprise twelve well-equipped and specialised centres namely the ICT Operations Centre; the Business Operation Centre; the Centre for Sustainable Technologies; the Centre for Additive Manufacturing and Design Innovation; the Centre for Deep Artificial Intelligence; the Centre for Advanced Science; the Centre for Accelerated Technical Training; the Centre for Logistics and Services; the Centre for Food Technology; the Centre for Health and Wellness; the Centre for Media and Communications; and the Centre for Reform and Policy.
This Park will help lay the foundation for an economy based on data, technology and innovation as well as provide an appropriate ecosystem to accelerate the innovation process. The project is expected to bring significant impact in the creation of direct and indirect employment, thus ensuring the overall enhancement of the economy. The advent of technology will also benefit the education sector,.
Such initiatives have generated positive results worldwide in countries like the United Kingdom, Singapore, India and Israel, among others.
