Landscope (Mauritius) Ltd is delighted to announce the signature of a lease agreement, this Monday 6th September, with the Open University of Mauritius. The Open University is the first University to be set up in the Education and Health Hub of Cote d’Or Smart City. The new state of the art campus that is being developed will cater for the learning needs of 10,000 students. It is anticipated to be fully operational in 2024.
The lease agreement was signed by Dr Kaviraj Sukon, Director General of the OUM, and Mrs Naila Hanoomanjee, CEO of Landscope Mauritius, in the presence of Vice Prime minister and Minister of Education, Mrs Leela Devi Dookun Luchoomun.
This agreement marks yet another step in transforming Mauritius into an Education Hub for the African continent.
It also further positions the Côte d’Or-Reduit region as the main Education Corridor of our knowledge economy, home to world class training institutions in the fields of life sciences, medicine, biotechnology, fintech and artificial intelligence.
