Building a Resilient, Responsible, and Inclusive Future
At Landscope (Mauritius) Ltd, sustainability isn’t just something we aim for — it’s part of how we work every day. As Mauritius’ national property developer, we aim to create places that are resilient, inclusive, and environmentally responsible — for today and for the generations to come.
Our Commitment to ESG
In 2024, we took major steps to place Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles at the core of our strategy. We started by carrying out a full materiality assessment — basically, identifying the ESG issues that matter most to our business and to the people we serve.
We also looked across our operations and assets to better understand our environmental impact, including our carbon footprint. From there, we developed a series of ESG-aligned policies that set out clear priorities across environmental, social, and governance areas. Each one is backed by measurable targets, helping us stay on track and improve over time.
As part of this journey, we also reviewed our sustainability impact, identified areas for improvement, and benchmarked ourselves against both local and international standards. This helps us stay aligned with best practices and meet regulatory expectations
Transparency and Reporting
We’re currently putting together a full Sustainability Disclosure Framework in line with the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards. Our first Sustainability Report is planned for 2025. It will give our stakeholders — including our partners, clients, and the public — a transparent look at how we’re performing and where we’re headed on our sustainability path.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
We believe that progress means more than just building spaces — it’s also about uplifting lives. Our CSR initiatives reflect our commitment to creating real, lasting impact in the communities we serve.
Each year, we roll out a dynamic CSR programme with a strong focus on education, the environment, and sustainable development. From supporting vulnerable groups and empowering young people, to partnering with NGOs and local authorities, our projects are designed to make a difference.
Looking ahead, our 2025–2026 CSR Calendar is being shaped to align with national priorities and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring that our efforts are both relevant and forward-looking.
Looking Ahead
Through all these efforts, Landscope (Mauritius) Ltd is proud to play its part in building a greener, more inclusive future. We’re more than a property developer — we’re custodians of land, communities, and the environment. And we’re committed to helping Mauritius thrive, now and for future generations.
