Applications are invited for the post of:
Maintenance Technician (Plumbing)
The Maintenance Technician shall complete maintenance and repair works involving specific knowledge in Plumbing skills and general knowledge of technical skills such as carpentry, metalwork, electric and other relevant trades and to maintain the cleanliness of premises and equipment as instructed by the Supervisor.
Main Responsibilities:
- To perform general upkeep and technical maintenance of the buildings and premises of Landscope in mainly Plumbing field and support in the following fields: electric, carpentry and woodwork, gardening, metal work
- To inspect, maintain and repair buildings and interior systems including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and woodwork, floor coverings, roofing, painting, heating and air conditioning, kitchen appliances, locks and security systems, metal work,
- To clean all equipment used in order to maintain in good working condition.
- Assist in the upkeeping of the assigned Landscope
- Assist in the delivery of building and/or maintenance material
- Assist in the cleaning of drains at various sites to prevent possible blockages
- Perform simple work and patching to contribute to overall site maintenance
- Assist in carrying out any minor repair/maintenance work to external buildings and sites, including painting and tiling work
- Follow general work instructions from the supervisor
- Ensure legal requirements are complied while operating machines/ equipment prior performing any tasks
- Be able to demonstrate good attitude and be flexible to work during odd hours
Minimum experience requirements:
- By promotion from the grade of General Assistant (Premises) or handy worker with at least 1 year of experience together with proven technical maintenance skills in Plumbing trade and in carpentry / electric / metalwork or other relevant trade
Minimum education requirements:
- Minimum of Primary School Achievement Certificate (PSAC).
- IVTB Approved Courses in Plumbing trade
- Demonstrate ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints for installation and repair of building systems and equipment and to use various manual and powered hand tools with dexterity.
